Sword of the Spirit Christian Ministries believes first and foremost that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior.

Sword of the Spirit Christian Ministries practices the team martial art of Evach Lahak. As our name implies, we are a Christian organization which focuses on outreach and fellowship. From a martial arts aspect, we are not a kendo or fencing group, nor are we a LARP or medieval reenactment group. Although we share some things in common with these other arts or groups, what we do is unique.

Evach Lahak is useful as a tool for outreach and fellowship because it is a team martial art. Evach Lahak means sword squad, and it emphasizes teamwork and tactics as much as individual fighting skill. This gives all participants a better chance to interact and develop interpersonal relationships. The team aspect also allows new members to join and contribute almost immediately, thus solidifying their place in the group and providing an excellent opportunity for fellowship. For individuals who do not know Jesus, Sword of the Spirit Christian Ministries offers members a fun chance to learn about God and interact with a solid Christian community.

Group membership is completely free, and Sword of the Spirit Christian Ministries encourages all ages twelve and older to come out and participate. Our leadership has plenty of extra equipment for new members or guests to borrow.
